Firstly, thank you to all our customers who visit us regularly and have supported us in the 12 years since we took over the Shropshire Inn. However, it is now with great sadness that we need to announce that we are temporarily closing our restaurant and will only offer a drinks service.
​
The past two years have been very challenging for everyone and the Hospitality industry has had so many additional demands placed on it and now we have to face dramatic price increases on ingredients, power and salaries.
​
Unfortunately, due to a family illness and current staffing problems, we have had to decide to stop service in our restaurant for a short time. We will be contacting those who have dinner reservations in the near future, and we will still be able to cater for private functions.

We still intend to open our bar and we hope all our regulars will continue to support us to help us carry on trading until we can re-open the restaurant.

We will be opening our bar at the following times:
From 6pm Tuesday till Friday
From 12noon at Weekends
